There are lots of news items this week: Turning earthquake rubble into marble, Iliamna Volcano in Alaska has seismic activity, 60 billion tons of iron discovered in Western Australia, British Geological Survey has plans for 500 abandoned Scottish mines, testing a 10 story building on a shake table, landslides in China and a landslide in Yukon River area of Alaska, U.S.
