2025 AGS Victoria AGM and Annual Dinner
We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open to join the AGS Victoria Chapter Committee for 2026. Our committee works hard to deliver professional development opportunities and networking events for AGS members. We need dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join the committee and help us to plan, manage and deliver these events.
Nominations should be submitted using the attached form.
Nominations will be accepted until COB, Monday 24 November 2025.
The Victoria Chapter of the Australian Geomechanics Society invites you to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 25th of November 2025, followed by its Annual Dinner.
During the AGM the Chair, Clare Bridgeman, will summarise the Chapter’s activities throughout the year.
AGS members may attend the AGM component for free, but attendance at the annual dinner requires registration.
About the dinner speaker
Rob Wilson formerly Senior Principal Engineering Geologist of Coffey /TetraTech
Robert Wilson was born & raised in NZ.
He is a geologist who spent 35 years with Coffey based in Melbourne. Some projects he worked on whilst at Coffey included:
- Roads: Hume Freeway alliances, Seacliff Bridge, Millstream Link WA.
- Railways: Melb Metro, CTD & Frankston 8 rail crossing removals, Inland Rail – Narromine to Kagaru.
- Gas pipelines: Colac-Geelong, Longford-Sydney, Port Campbell-Adelaide, Mortlake, Ortford
- Water pipelines: Wimmera-Mallee, Melbourne-Geelong Interconnector.
- Slope projects for: Shire of Yarra Ranges, Mt Hotham, Melbourne Water, Energy Australia, Spie Capag.
- Overseas: Brunei, Fiji, Malaysia, NZ, PNG, Peru, Philippines
- Buildings: Queen Vic, Austin Hospital, Valley Central.
His last day of work was Christmas Eve 2022.
Then he left Melbourne for the country life.

Upon purchase, an email and a tax invoice will be sent to the buyer. Attendees will also receive an email with their tickets attached, as well as a link to download the tickets if they are misplaced.
