The world has been active geologically this past week with a deadly landslide in a gold mine in the Congo, an eruption of the Sakurajm volcano in Japan and an explanation of all of the earthquakes recently near the island of Santorini.
Lead articles this week are asking for abstract submissions for the EGU session on landslides and the travel grant applications for the upcoming WIMS meeting. We also have two upcoming conferences EGCON in India and 15th Asian Regional Conference in November too.
