There were lots of news items from around the world on engineering geology. We mention a rockfall on Santorini in Greece and the activities of the Mt. Spurr Volcano, U.S. and Mt. Etna in Italy. There were earthquakes in Chile and Myanmar and a “haboob” sandstorm in Arizona, U.S.!
